sapphire r9 270x 4gb or sapphire r9 270x vapour x 2gb

Solution
720p

1080p then 2gb is enough

1440p up then 4gb it is - although i doubt that the 270x can even handle that resolution even with 4gb of memory.

well if they are at the same price or they are closely priced then y not get the 4gb version, it would give you a little bit more performance.

Get the 4GB version, if you wish to play latest and upcoming modern games with high/ultra graphical fidelity @1080p.

Update:

Yes can very well go for the GTX 960 4GB, If its within your budget. Try to get MSI GTX 960 4GB Rs. 18200. If MSI not available settle for Sapphire GTX 960 GB. The GTX 960 even manages to outclasses the AMD budget heavy weight R9 280. Check these videos:

GTX 960 vs R9 285/ R9 280/ GTX 760 1440p Benchmarks

The GTX 960 only require a 430W PSU that can deliver 20Amps or more on its +12V rail.

Cheers!
