I have an older system and I tried to put Windows 7 on, which I did (somehow), but it was very, very laggy.
I have a HP Pavilion a6430.uk with a AMD Phenom Quad Core 9600, 8 GB DDR2 6400 and has a motherboard model M2N68-LA version 3.02, ASUS I believe.
After checking HP site the a6430.uk drivers are only for Windows Vista. Checked the ASUS website and I cant find the M2N68-LA model listed. I wanted to put Windows 7 on am I best of trying to put either Windows Vista back on or something like Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
