I have trouble playing games like Nosgoth, Total War:Rome2, Total War:Shogun2 and lag really badly when I run into CS:GO smokes. So, I thought it might be time to upgrade my graphics card. Right now I have a Nvidia GeForce GT 420. The best cards within my price range (I think) are:
MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GAMING
EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB
Asus GTX750TI-OC-2GD5

I have 4gb of ram (Upgrading to 8gb of ram)
And also an i7 2600 processor
Which graphics card do you guys think is the best or is there anything else you would recommend?

Of those 3, the Evga has the fastest core clock and boost clock out of the box. Evga also has the best warranty. Hopefully you don't have an HP pre-built, tho. Some have had issues recognizing the new UEFI BIOS of the Maxwell-equipped Nvidia cards.

I have a pre-built medion pc (which is pretty old) with a MS 7707 motherboard. Does that work?

Yes it works but I would recomend to you Asus or Gigabyte ;)

I guess it will depend how recent the motherboard BIOS is. If possible, try to update your motherboard BIOS to the latest version. And get the card from someplace that allows returns in case your board doesn't recognize that Gfx card.

But with an i7-2600, your system would seem to be new enough not to have any issues. Try it and see. If it doesn't produce a display, try to update the BIOS. If still no joy, exchange the card for a different one.

Do you have any Asus/Gigabyte recommendations then for about 150 euros (Like this one Asus Strix Radeon R7 370 DC2OC 2GD5)? Otherwise I will go for the
EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB or this one
Sapphire R7 260X 2GB GDDR5

Okay, thank you. I'll use those steps if I run into any problems :wahoo:
Also, doesn't the MSI version have the highest clock out of the box?

Everything is so cheap in US though lol. In the US the R7-370 costs $160 and in the Netherlands it is $206 :(

Thanks for your help and time anyway! :D
