I recently upgraded from an Asus Radeon 7850 (1 Gb memory) to a Sapphire Dual-X R9 280X. I ordered the card off of Amazon and received it in good time. My PC specs are as follows: CPU- AMD FX4170 Quad Core, MOBO- Asus M5A97 R2.0, PSU- NZXT 650 watt supply, 8 Gbs DDR3 RAM, Asus VG248QE 144Hz monitor. I installed the new 280X, plugged in the DVI, but received no signal to my monitor. The card's fans were spinning and its LED light was blue. So I did some troubleshooting; I reseated the card and checked the connection to the power supply, tried an HDMI connection instead, flashed my bios to its newest version and updated my motherboards drivers. Still nothing. Is there anything else I can try? Does anyone know what's causing this? Is it just a bad card?
