Good Build? CANADIAN DOLLARS **READ**

So, currently, I am "gaming" off of my almost-4-year-old laptop. The reasoning behind the " " 's is because this so called gaming experience is horrendous, since my portable computer is utter garbage.

So, I've mustered up some money and hundreds of builds.
Literally.

Now before i show you the two that I am stuck on the fence over, take the time to read over the rant below.

-------------------------------------------------

Everyone knows Intel for their power in the devices that they produce, in this case their processors, aka CPU's.
They have an excellent reputation, and I personally would NEVER chose AMD over Intel.
At least not for high-end builds.
In this case, i have a rather small budget, $1200 dollars CANADIAN. Not American.

My plans for this PC that i might choose to build is just for it to be able to start me off into the, the, let's call it the "Comfortable Gaming Tier". I'm not expecting 500 FPS on GTA V with Ultra Settings. On top of this, I will not be upgrading this build.
At least I don't believe so.

Anyways, back on topic.
To most gamer's and PC builders, AMD is like the old iPhone 4.
We all try to stay away from it.
But what my point is on this over exaggerating rant is that AMD is okay for budget builds! Graphics cards are USUALLY more important for gaming anyways!

-------------------------------------------------

So, Here Are Two Builds;

The Miss-Understood AMD:

The "Dream-For-1200" Intel:

No that's the regular MSI 970 reference model. Still good though. $12 more gets you the Asus Strix 970 which is great.

If you want to go with the AMD build I would suggest changing your cpu to the 8320 the only difference the taht eh 8350 has a higher base clock speed and a little better OC. so for the money 8320 is worth it. I know you said you want intel but if you end up going AMD that is my two cents

The Corsair CX psus are not very good. The FX8350 would run like crap on the motherboard you chose for it. Forget about overclocking, you wouldn't even be able to get it to run at stock speeds. There are no good AM3+ microATX motherboards and ALL 780 series motherboards should be avoided as well as half of the 970 series motherboards. There is really no reason to even consider AMD at this point. The weakest i5 is better and cheaper to build with.

Are these the same GPU's?
