Upgrading Graphics card, do I need a new psu?

Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 3847 with a new graphics card. The EVGA GTX 660 Super Boost but I'm not sure if my current power supply is enough for it or if I should upgrade it. I believe my psu runs at 300w. Any help would be great guys, and did I choose a decent card? It's on sale for only 99.00 and I thought it was a good bang for the buck. Thanks!

Yes you will need a new one with that graphics card... I would get a gtx 750ti and you would not need a new PSU but yes if you really want to get that gpu then you will need a new PSU

I would not get that card though, it is older and there are newer more efficient cards you can get

Like this one? And does it outperform the 660 or does it just not have to have an upgraded psu? Also is this a good model or are there better one's out there? MSI GTX 750

whatever you do i would not buy a 660 unless you can get it for less than 70$, if you are willing to spend more then go for a 960
