Will this Build give me awesome performance?

Depends on the resolution really. If you are talking 1080, then yea it will work. I would add an SSD though. A 256 GB MX200 is a good entry level drive, I use the MX100 (the older version of the MX200) and love it.

I find running just a normal HDD to be painfully sluggish. It is very apparent when I use my mothers PC for anything. It really makes that much of a difference.

I should also add that you may want to use a more recent motherboard for your CPU. The H97 boards can be found for relatively cheap.

Do you plan to overclock? Because you can't with your CPU. But you don't really need to overclock anyway.

Also, what games?

Are you planning to hook surround sound up or any other fancy peripherals? Your motherboard chipset is a fairly basic chipset, but should work fine.

I plan on running games like: Skyrim, APB Reloaded, TF2, Minecraft, Osu!, Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and possibly GTA V. A mix of games hoping for 60fps or more for most of these and No, I don't plan to overclock
