I should be able to run GTA V at reasonably high settings if not the highest without much lag with an AMD R9 290, right? Well I run at about 25FPS on lowest settings, this is a result of me using my Intel HD Graphics instead of my graphics card and I don't know how to fix it, is there any way you can help me?

Thank you in advance

I have an Intel i7 3770k processor if that's any help.

I bet you plugged your monitor into your integrated graphics port (on the motherboard). You need to plug it into the graphics card.

Also, make sure the drivers for your graphics card are installed (and up to date!) or you will get poor or no performance from the card.
First, try booting into BIOS, go to the display settings and make sure that you have selected the PCI slot and not Integrated. Save these settings then restart PC.

Check if this has worked by going to Computer --> System Properties --> Device Manager -- Double click on Display Adaptors

I have tried many times to get into my bios, but i can't, i've done everything to get in, but nothing works. :/

What are some of the things you have tried? This will prevent any repeated solutions that you don't need.

I have tried pressing, I think it was F11 or Delete repeatedly, that didn't work.
I have tried going into change PC settings, recovery, Advanced Startup, Restart, troubleshoot> advanced options> and then UEFI firmware settings wasn't here.
This is all the solutions I've found, they don't seem to work though.

What board is it? Also, like other users have mentioned, have you plugged the monitor into the motherboard or the graphics card?
