use different mhz ram together?

is it ok to use 8GB kingston hyperx fury 1866mhz ddr3 with 4GB kingston 1333mhz ddr3?

Well it will make your ram all of it slower like 1333 example 2 sticks 1866 add 2 sticks 1600 then they all become 1600.

nope you would have to underclock the 1866mhz ram, just get the same that you have now.

It's not guaranteed to work but if it does it will all run at the same speed as the slowest ram stick

Yes I never said it wasn't sale it just slows the faster ram down is all..
