How do install os on a ssd in a new system?

Hi i am wondering how to install windows 8.1 on my new system? But i want to install it on my ssd.

physically disconnect all other drives, and then install it.

Same way you'd do it on an HDD.

Have only the target drive connected
Boot from your install media, USB or DVD
Follow the prompts

yes, if you do not physically disconnect everything before installing windows might, just might, reformat a disk that you don't want reformatting. Attach it afterwards and all will be ok
