Amd radeon 6870 display ports

Hello i am using a Amd radeon 6870. and im trying to connect 2 screens at the same time.
so what is the 2 small ports at the top cald and are they working correctly with hdmi ?

The top two are literally caled 'mini displayport'... mildly confusing.

Not sure what you mean by "working correctly with hdmi".

The two ports located above the HDMI port are [strike]"mini display" ports[/strike] mini displayport. I'm not sure if that's what you're asking.

Do you mean a mini displayport to HDMI cable, so you can connect it to an HDMI display?

if you require 4 monitors attached via DVI or HDMI, then you'll need a pair of active miniDP to HDMI/DVI adapters, not passive, the 68x0 cards are one of many that only contain two clock generators, which means a max of two non-DP monitors unless active adapters are used (they contain a clock generator each).

Alternatively the DVI ports can be directly converted to HDMI, but only 2 of the total 3 ports (DVI DVI HDMI) can be used at a time unless a pair are in cloned mode.
