Migrating OS to new SSD

I recently bought and installed a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD with the intention to transfer Windows and a few of my most used programes/games onto, however my HDD has over 1TB of data on it and I have no means of backing up, I also have no windows install disk. Any ideas on the best way to go about migrating Windows from my HDD to my SSD?

Solution
1. You can't do the OS and 'some' applications. All or nothing, mostly. A couple of the applications allow not migrating things in the Libraries (Doc/Music/Video)
2. Since your current used space is significantly larger than your new SSD, you're in a bit of a pickle.

2 options:
1. Reduce the current used space to below 200GB and migrate
2. Clean install of the OS on the SSD

Alright thanks for the help, I thought I would have to. I have Samsung data migration software here that allows for me to split my HDD onto my SSD and another source? Would buying and installing another HDD allow for me to do this?

The Samsung allows splitting what, precisely? AFAIK, it only does the OS and all applications, not the OS and some applications.

From Samsung:
"In most cases, PC users use 500GB, 1TB and even more capacity of HDDs while SSD is less than that. If you have a laptop and you want to migrate your data from your 1TB HDD(500GB used) to a 250GB SSD, you’ll find that the Target Disk(SSD) is not large enough to accommodate all files on the Source Disk(HDD). “Custom Cloning” feature will help you select unnecessary media files on the Source Disk to exclude from the cloning process. "

Exclude media files (from the Library as mentioned above). Not applications or games.

Personally, I would just do a fresh install on the new SSD.
