Hi All,

I have an Intel DH67GD motherboard (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/desktops/desktop-board-dh67gd-interactive-layout-demo-video.html). I have installed a graphics cards (XFX R270) with two fans. The graphics card covers the PCIeX16 slot and an additional PCIeX1 slot. I have purchased a PCIe sound card that is half-height. When I tried to installed it, I have noticed that it blocks a major part video card fans. I'm a bit concerned, since there is only about an inch between the fans and the card.
1) Am I doing something wrong? Can it be that the board design is such that a fanned gpu will effectively block both pcie slots?
2) What should I do? Is an inch (or slightly less than an inch) space an adequate ventilation for the GPU?

Solution
1) It is a common issue with current cards which most are dual slot cards, you are not doing anything wrong.
2) yes that should be a sufficient ventilation!
