older motherboard, newer processor?

ive got an asrock 770 extreme 3, http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/770%20Extreme3/?cat=Specifications

im wondering if i install the beta bios thing, i should be able to use am3+ processors, but im wondering if i can install an 8 core processor? it says 6 core cpu ready on the specifications page.

You can't use an AM3+ processor with this motherboard because it has an AM3 chipset on it. I don't really understand what your question is, also I don't know what the "beta bios thing" is. About the 8 core CPU, any 8 core cpu that has an AM3 chipset you can put in your motherboard.

I would be careful with using beta bioses. Theyre beta for a reason and can be buggy. And can cause probs
