My FX-9370 Core Voltage much higher than others?!

So when i look at my CPU-Z my Core voltage is over 1.5 most of the time and all others i have saw got under 1.5, why mine is so high and how and can i lower it?

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990fx R 2.0

They run high Vcore to run high clocks. Normally 4.4 to 4.7GHz

What clock is it running at ?

Mine is on stock clocks 4.4, i remember that i once used asus own overclock thing or something so it overclocked my ram and cpu but i put that back but could it have left the core voltage to that high?

I'd say for your CPU, then that's the Vcore you need.

The 8350 runs on 1.4 to 1.45V. Thje 9370 and 9350 are high binned 8350s - that can take a high Vcore and live.

but how some people got 4.8 overclock with lower voltage than i got now? can't i like to try lower mine and see if it stable, i just don't know how, i tried once but it didn't do anything

Go in to bios and do a 'reset to safe defaults' and see if the voltage drops back.

Then you'll have to change Vcore manually.

Yes i got, i changed CPU manual voltage from bios but it still goes over 1.5 when full load (prime95) Im reading the voltage from CPU-Z

Then don't run Prime. Its only for testing overclock stability.
