980ti, doesnt render pixels that arent shown on a vr device(black spots in the corners arent just covered, they arent rendered since they arent shown), it does this with one of nvidia's new technologies(forgot what it is called)

Titan X is best atm, however AMDs HBM technology might give us some good VR GPUs because of the high bandwidth needed for the high resolutions in VR.

390x is nothing more than a relabeled 290x. I to believe the performance of the fury is about the 980 TI.
What resolution matters. if it's 4k, then the correct answer would be DUAL 980 TI cards. 1080, then a single card will perform well, dual if you want to push it harder (more frames per second).

980ti is the best since it costs less than the titan x, can have custom PCBs unlike the titan x and fury x, and it has the multi resolution shading technology which will yield better performance then the fury x
