Idle ~32c
Browsing ~40c

Gaming (World of Warcraft WoD - 1080p, everything maxed, including advanced settings, only render scale is 150%, instead of 200%)
~72c max
~62c average

Note: I have small case atm with only 2 fans. In few weeks, I will get nzxt h440 with 5 fans. Stock cooler Will be replaced with Noctua nh-d15.

Are these temps safe? I know they aren't great, but I think it's fine for now (with this case and stock cooler)

Also, how can i control cpu fan?

Idkle is fine. Gaming is a bit hot. What cpu cooler have you got? If its the stock one then that explains the temps.

It self turbos to 4.4GHz. So there's no need to overclock it. (Else it gets really hot). But its best to put an after market CPU cooler on it eg Cryorig H7.

CPU fan is controlled with your motherboard utility software.

I have Asus z97-a motherboard. I went on Asus page, is this the right utility software? http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Tools&os=29
Windows 8.1 64bit and then Utilities, the first one?
