I have a "ASUS P5Q-e Motherboard and am looking to upgrade from 4gigs of ram to 6-8gig £100 budget throw me some options if you can, thanks.

best bet is to either stay with what you have and save for a new built since lga775 is a dead socket or match your current ram. also may try finding a motherboard that has an lga775 socket but supports ddr3 ram (there are a few available) and getting a ddr3 kit then later when you can upgrade to a new motherboard and new socket type and new processor. what is your current budget?
