Would this PSU harm my PC? Or will it work fine.

Buying a PSU with more wattage than your system needs will do no harm at all. In fact, the reverse is true (if you buy an underpowered PSU it can fail and can potentially blow some of the motherboard components too).

The wattage of a PSU is just the maximum wattage it's capable of supplying if that much is required.

No, your PSU will not harm your PC. Just a reminder that you will also need a storage component, like a hard drive or SSD. The EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W Modular 80+ Gold power supply is a great quality power supply.
