hi
i just bought this new LG smart tv (lb69000 you probably can't find it online , it's regional) i managed to play a movie from my HTC one M8 using WiFi Direct but it was aweful ! kept on buffering every 10 second !
so how do i do the same with my laptop , what are my options ? other than HDMI of course !

If the TV supports DLNA you could install a DLNA server on your PC and stream it that way. I tried looking to see if it did but could not find a definitive answer. I believe Windows Media Player media sharing is a form of DLNA and should work, if not then there are other programs that could be used, I know Plex can serve as a DLNA server.
