Hello all,
I am in a position where I have only around 120 to spend, but want the best performance. I have a CX500 power supply paired with an AMD A10-7850k.
I have two options. I waited after the AMD 300 series released to allow the pricing of the last-gen AMD cards to decrease, but the opposite happened when the R9 280s went from around 150 in price to 170 or more in price. I was told by others to not buy anything more than an R9 280 in order to keep my power supply working properly.
However, I came across somebody on Craigslist selling a EVGA GTX 760 2GB, which I believe to be AMD R9 280 equivalent. It has NOT been used, and is a EVGA replacement and has never been used. There are around 300 days left on the warranty with proof, and he is selling for 115.
Which should I go with?
I plan to play Battlefield 4, Sniper Elite 3, NBA 2k15, Sleeping Dogs, along with some video editing
