So, I got my GTX970, I tried to OC it, and got it to +200core +600memory. The thing is, while playing I got several times this BSOD: WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR. I searched it on google, and it said most of the time it was CPU voltage low.

I have had my FX-8320@4.3GHz, I don't remember the voltage though (I think it was 1.4V). (My chip is terrible and I didn't chose the best board to OC)

I resetted the bios and disable thee OC on the GPU, and it didn't happened again.

My PSU is a FXF 550W 80+Bronze.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
increase voltage if your chip and the cooling can take it, or reduce the OC on the CPU. different games will throw these errors at different OC's, I was stable on everything but BF3, a 0.005V voltage increment sorted it.

my problem is that even though I have a H110 the VRM (if it's the name for the things that power the CPU, I'm not sure) heat up too fast, just like the socket. But yeah, I think I'll bump up the voltage at least for this game and see if it runs.

Thanks guys :>

My CPU has been OC for almost a year and it's good, it's probably the GPU sucking more than it "should". I got it OCed but it has no more voltage. After all, I got an FX-8320 with a GTX970 on a 550W PSU. But thanks :>

I have the most terrible chip :C. And my mobo sucks :<
Y ME SO BAD AT PICKING PARTS

Well, still beats getting intel where I live in lol. Well, thanks forr that, I actually forgot CPUs deteriorate over time. But I'm pretty sure I can't give even more voltage or I'll melt the motherboard.

Thanks

I'm almost sure it's the PSU though. An OC AMD 8-core and an OC GTX970 is a quite a bit for a 550w PSU. It ins't overvolted, a tick less would make it crash prime95, so. Anyway, thank you
