What happens I replace my CPU with a intergrated GPU with just a cpu? AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor is the one i had in mind, im just a bit curious as this will be the first time i add something/customize my pre customized computer. P.S I have a AMD A10-6700 APU WITH RADEON HD GRAPHICS 3.70 GHZ. All info would help.

Oh - what will happen is that everything will fail spectacularly. Those units are not compatible; you can't put one on a motherboard that is made for the other.

AMD A10-6700, socket FM2: http://products.amd.com/pages/desktopapudetail.aspx?id=80&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1
AMD FX-6300, socket AM3+: http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUDetail.aspx?id=811&f1=AMD+FX+6-Core+Black+Edition&f2=&f3=&f4=1024&f5=AM3%2b&f6=&f7=32nm&f8=&f9=5200&f10=False&f11=False&f12=True

Please tell us what hardware you have and what you are trying to accomplish, and maybe we can point you in a better direction.

If you want to swap out your current CPU for one without an iGPU, then you will need an Athlon X4 like the 760k or 860k. I'm not sure they'll offer much performance benefits over your current APU though. Might be better to wait and see what this next crop of AMD CPUs that are supposed to be FM2+ compatible brings to the table. Supposedly they're going to offer as much as a 40% increase in IPC. I doubt that it will end up being that much, but that's the buzz anyhow.
