Here's a doozy for you I've been trying to figure out how to solve for about a year now.
So about a year ago i re-installed windows 7 onto my Lenovo Y570's hard drive. Everything was working fine for about a day until suddenly my left mouse button wont click anything. Naturally I thought my mouse had broken but since this is a laptop with a touch pad I decide i just just double tap the touch pad to click from now on. Here is the kicker though, i cant left click by double tapping the mouse pad either. I can however set my touch pad to click with my right mouse button, so naturally i decided it must be a software issue caused by a driver malfunction when i reinstalled the computer. Upon attempting to re-install the driver I found out that no matter what i did, it wouldn't fix the problem.. however.. I lose my disk and cant re-install windows 7 again. So now i need help figuring out how to fix it.
