Hi guys, ok so, doubt here, my GPU is no longer viable to even run modern games (still handles The Witcher 3 but that's as far as this little guy gets)
My question is, what's the current GPU worth spending my money on? or i should just save up and buy a completely new rig? (these parts are actually quite expensive down here in South America) i don't have a budget, i'm asking for the best price/performance out there that can run games on med-high 768p, i'm not very knowledgeable in GPUs, i've been looking at R9 270X, 280, GTX 750 Ti, the 760, the 960, but i can't really pinpoint one, i'd greatly appreciate some input

My current rig is in my profile, just hover the mouse over Prophet

Reference for prices if needed

R9 270 -> 235 USD
R9 270X -> 280 USD
R9 280 -> 300 USD
GTX 750 Ti -> 210 USD
GTX 760 -> 270 USD
GTX 960 -> 300 USD

Solution
Get the gtx 960. It would be the best gpu you can get, plus you don't have to change your current psu to run it as well. It's true that the 750 ti would be more than enough @768p, but you would be more satisfied with a 960 down the road as it is a much more capable card.

Some might argue that the r9 280 would be the better value with more v-ram, but unlike the 280, the 960 runs cooler, has full direct x12 support and still run 1080p just fine despite having only 2GB v-ram. And usually a r9 280 would cost less than a 960, making it competitive in the market. In short, grab the 960.
