Screen goes black/random color then comes back?

So I just got a MSI 970 about 1 month ago so i don't think that is the problem tried cleaning the pci slot and also on another thread someone said if your running the game in border less windowed it can cause this so i put it in full screen and it seemed to work in 1 game so far but that might change so don't take my word on it but in Arma 3 it still happens my monitor says its in power saving mode and then come back and i cant tab back into my games but i can hear sound in the game and in one game i can even shoot my gun? Also windows gives me no error and i have my drivers all up to date. well if anyone has an idea let me know please.

well i use msi all the time and my gpu stays around 40c and also a friend told me to plug my pc into the wall and not a power strip and my power supply is 80 plus bronze and 1050 watts
