So lately, some games I have been playing have been causing my PC to go into a complete shutdown and reboot, and I'm trying to figure out what may be going wrong. I currently have a GIGABYTE brand motherboard and 2 8GB 1600 DDR3 ram sticks. They are inserted into the two right-most ports on the motherboard. Could this be causing an issue? I know that some motherboards require you to space out your ram sticks.

Couple of things, make sure you have the latest BIOS, mobo and GPU drivers. You currently have the DRAM in slots 3-4 from the CPU it sounds like (a blue and a white I believe, should be in 1-3 or 2-4 (both sticks in same colored slot for dual channel mode. DRAM is 1600 so prob want it set up with XMP enabled and profile 1 selected, also might want the DRAM voltage up + 0.05 in case of a weak stick. Which Corsair 750? If the CX model, chances are it could be problematic.
