Hello,
I am building a new computer soon and wanted to know if what I have will work with overclocking. I guess mainly I am wondering if the motherboard will do and if any other components don't fit. Thanks!

I've been looking around newegg for motherboards and I'm now wondering how to select a good one? My head is spinning from all the options. Any suggestions on what to look for in overclocking? I have the MSI board I posted here, but what are some other options?

What I want to do is be able to overclock, but I'm trying to now find a board that doesn't have reviews that says it breaks more often than not. Most of the more expensive boards I've looked at have pretty consistently bad reviews.

My budget is around $900.00. I've actually decided against overclocking as I don't see any value in it, or at least haven't found a reason for it. So here is what I have now.

Intel Core i5-4690 Haswell Quad-Core 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W BX80646I54690 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600
GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
SAMSUNG 850 EVO MZ-75E500B/AM 2.5" 500GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming GDDR5 Pcie Video Graphics Card, 4GB
CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model CMY16GX3M2A1866C9R (Red)
Blackstone RX-700AC Power Supply

Hey I had bought the MSI board and the Intel i5 processor, but I missed the boat on the power supply. I found this one and am wondering if this is quality? It's 30% off and an 850 W psu. Thanks!
