I'm curious because there are still some large AT new-old stock beige boxes available. I imagine it would fit size-wise but I fear the screw holes wouldn't be in the right place. I feel like someone is going to ask "but why would you want to?". Its because I'm crazy and find humour in the idea of a new build in an ancient case. I am also aware that it would likely need cooling mods.

Solution
to mount the motherboard first remove the plastic side off the case. you can then line the motherboard up with the pci openings and use a marker to mark where the holes are. remove the motherboard and drill these holes out. then put a piece of foam or cardboard down to act as a insalator put the motherboard it and use bolts and nuts to attach the mobo to the frame.
you will need to drill holes for mounting the motherboard but that is pretty easy to do. i just did this with my latest build using a ancient Pentium 2 case and it worked pretty well. for cooling you shouldn't have much of a issue fans are still about the same size, you might also have a problem with the power button.
