Hey guys I'm from India and I was thinking of buying my first gaming rig. I really want a pc that is purely for games like bf4 , battlefront ( the new one coming in November) on ULTRA ( HUGE SW FAN )
I don't want to spend a lot on my gaming as I am in final year of med school and I don't intend to upgrade anytime in the future

CPU - I5 4460
GPU - R9 280X SAPPHIRE OC ( not yet decided on which one )
Case - corsair carbide spec 1
MEMORY - 4GBx2 ballistics
mobo - asrock h97 atx or gigabyte h97
HDD - seagate 1 tb

I WONT be OC myself but gonna go for the FACTORY OC
Will the factory overclock work on the h97? As I heard its not meant for over clocking. And is this pc overkill for just ultra gaming ?
Thank you guys so much in advance. I have been a console gamer for ages and I used to game on my laptop from time to time. I am ditching consoles and going for a good pc gaming experience . Thanks again guys !!

This is really not an overkill system but it is a good system.

An i5-4460 can't be overclocked as it needs to be a processor with an unlocked multiplier (i5-4690k for example).

Also, H97 is indeed not meant for overclocking. You need a Z97 chipset motherboard for that purpose.

Make sure you buy a quality Seasonic power supply unit like the M12II 620w for this setup. Don't buy a bad power supply.
