Hi,
I just purchased a new desktop, HP Pavilion 500-530no, detailed specs are here:
http://support.hp.com/nl-nl/document/c04655906

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit and I have installed all the accurate drivers as far as I know.
One of the things I can't get to work is the VGA port on the motherboard. The PC has a seperate graphics card (Radeon R7 240) which I am currently using the HDMI port on (that card don't have a VGA port).
The VGA port and HDMI ports on the motherboard were plugged up when the computer arrived, I had to unscrew the covers of the plugs before I could plug my VGA cable in.
In device manager there is a yellow exclamation mark next to "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter".
I have installed the chipset drivers from AMD's website, and the website did mention "Vista" in the drivers specs, so it's supposed to be compatible with Vista. What do I need to do to get the VGA port running? When I try to let Windows update the "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" it says Windows has determined the current driver is up to date and working (yet there is an exclamation mark next to the driver in Device Manager").
Any help appreciated. If you need more info, please let me know, thanks.

@das_stig: I can't download the file... When I click on it the AMD page just says "Download Not Complete". Right click -> Save as... doesn't work either.
You said the onboard video is disabled because of the plugin card. I really need the VGA port at the moment. How do I disable the plugin card then so the onboard video will work, do I need to actually take it out of the computer or can it be disabled in the BIOS (if so, how?).

@i7Baby: Yes, I really do need the VGA port, as my favorite monitor has a VGA cable and no HDMI. I will be using the HDMI in the future sometime, but not at the moment. I doubt there is something wrong with it, I just purchased this PC brandnew from HP.

@das_stig: update... I figured out what was wrong with the download link, AMD has blocked direct linking to files on their site, but I did navigate their downloads manually and indeed that is the same chipset drivers that I've already installed. :-( Any other ideas?
