i have these 2 pairs of ddr3 ram and in bios it says the ram is 800mhz , and then i went into OC in MSI bios and let the ram freqency on Auto , and its running 1600mhz which says in CPU-Z and in MSI Bios on top . does it just say that and it rins in 800mhz or what? will the RAM get faulty if i leave it on 1600mhz

Solution
The memory is running at 800Mhz, but it sends data twice per clock, 800Mhzx2=1600Mhz.
Some programs report the base speed, and some the effective rate, that's why BIOS says 800 and CPU-Z says 1600.
It won't get damaged, that's just how DDR memory works.
