Hey guys. I am facing this issue since today where even on idle, the GPU fan suddenly starts spinning at max speed (extremely loud noise) and the computer restarts.
This is also happening when I just try to turn on the computer, when it reaches the windows loading screen, the fan turns extremely loud and the display turns off and the fan keeps spinning at that speed until I have to hard boot the computer.
My CPU/GPU temperatures are both under 40 when on idle, so temperature really cannot be an issue. One thing that I must mention is that while playing FIFA last night, i got a 'WDF_VIOLATION' BSOD message and the problems started after that. What could be wrong? Please help. Thanks!
My system specs:
i7-3770 @3.4GHz
8GB RAM
Zotac GTX 760 2GB (reference model)
