Hi,

What sort of fps should I be getting in World of Tanks, War thunder etc

I have a i5 4690K stock 3.9mhz
MSI GTX 980
8GB 1600 RAM
240 SSD
Win 7

I have all setting on max on WOT and the fps range from 50 to 60 fps with some highs of 70 and 80. V sync is off.

I have just purchased the 980 and thoughts I would get more.

Don't get me wrong games are running fine but I am in the market for a new monitor and was looking at the 144 hz, but on doing my research I have heard if I am not getting 100 plus fps its not gong to be any good for a 144 hz monitor.

DO I have this right?

Are these low fps for the set up?

Greetings! I play WOT and WT as well. I myself run them fine on a 7970. A GTX 980 Should get you About 80-90 FPS on WT Ground Forces, With an average of 100-150 FPS on air battles. As far as WOT, you should get about
60-100 FPS. All FPS listings are with max settings. Congrats :) As for a 144 hz monitor, as long as you get above 60 FPS, it will be worth buying.
