I hope I'm posting this in the right place.
Ok, so this is my first time I have had to do something like this.. I'm wondering if and how it's possible to transfer all my stuff including windows to a new hard drive, it's a laptop if that makes a difference, I have an external enclosure. I don't have an install disk, and I don't know what the key is, it came pre-installed. If I need my key, how do I find it?

I did google it, and tried many things... None of them worked. Now my computer is flooded with programs and shit I don't need... So I came to a reliable source where I can get a real answer not an automated best suggestion that may or may not work. I guess this was the wrong source to choose... You just told me not to clone it, yet all those search results are showing how to clone it?....

I'm telling you not to because the movement of programs between drives will result in many of them not working. Software might move the OS but can't guarantee the integrity of your programs.

Clone the OS with programs and you can expect issues. A fresh install is the best way to go. It won't take you long to reinstall your programs, AND you'll find that many programs you had installed you don't use any more, so you've just freed up a load of space.
