Hi

i want to buy new GPU, which one of them is better support DX12 (Hardware and software)
and have low temperature

1 - EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SuperSC ACX 2.0+ 2GB (Price on Amazon $207.85)

2 - EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB FTW ACX 2.0+ (Price on Amazon $262.95)

3 - MSI R9 380 GAMING 4G (Price on Amazon $239.99)

4 - MSI R9 380 GAMING 2G (Price on Amazon $209.99)

some website review show that MSI R9 380 2GB is more faster than GTX 960 gigabyte edition about 4 to 5 fps

i read about GTX 960 will not support DX12 full

"NVIDIA will support the DX12 API on all the DX11-class GPUs it has shipped; these belong to the Fermi, Kepler and Maxwell architectural families"

Straight from an Nvidia press release."

Note that this means they'll support the low level hardware api on those chips, this does not mean they'll support all of DX12's features.

can i reach the full performance with my CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 and 6Gb 2x3 RAM DDR2 800 MHZ

my motherboard ASUS IPIBL-LA (Berkeley)

see this link below

I think I'll pick this one MSI R9 380 GAMING 4G
is that really Nvidia support its Graphics card better than AMD in Drivers and Update in the Future
which one will get longer support
and do you suggest another manufacturer for R9 380 rather that MSI

the problem is my hardware is not enough to give me the full performance of Card

also I'm looking for the lowest temperature level and the better build quality and longer life

also can someone tell me these card work on my MOBO or NOT

It has a PCI Express x16 slot, so whatever you want.

Just make sure to update the bios to the newest available from the manufacturer's website.

Your processor and power supply should be your biggest concern.

The gtx 960 2gb is the most I would put into your computer, anything more would be too severely held back by your cpu.

Make and model of your power supply?
