Hello I have upgraded my pc over the 2 years iv had it, the only thing is i want to make it the best it can be without throwing out the whole thing and starting from scratch. I can run all games i own on one setting or another but some games i still have some trouble with or i would just like to be able to run smother or higher graphics. IM just wondering what do i upgrade?

SPECS:

MOBO:MSI A88XM GAMING-R FM2+ / FM2 AMD A88X 8 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

RAM: 2X 4GB VENGANCE

CPU: AMD ATHLON RICHLAND 760K QUAD CORE

GPU: MINI-ITX RADEON R9 270X

Solution
A R9 390X is just a rebranded R9 290X 8GB with a bit higher clock speeds. Nothing amazingly faster. If you can find a R9 290X it will be pretty cheap.

But you will need to upgrade your PSU. I wouldn't do less than 650W on that GPU as it uses a lot of power.

Your first start would be getting a dedicated Cpu Id highley recommend going with an i5 4690k but if you prefer amd try and fx 8350. Then down the road when preformance goes down you can ugprade your gpu and not have a cpu that bottlenecks it

^He has a dedicated CPU and both things you suggested would require a new motherboard as his AMD board is FM2+ and the FX series are AM3+.

OP, if you want better performance in games you need to upgrade your GPU. Assuming you play at 1080P then you would probably want to go no higher than a R9 390X/390 or a GTX 970. Your CPU will be a slight bottleneck but that is what will benefit you the most.

Now you might also have to upgrade your PSU depending on the brand, power rating and which GPU you decide to go for.
