I'm upgrading my case but turns out my Hyper 212 Evo just barely doesn't fit with the case I like.

I'm looking for a cheap and effective low profile cooler, preferably around the price of a Hyper 212 Evo that'll do the job

Any suggestions appreciated

OH and it must compatible with an AMD AM3+ socket CPU

Solution
sadly there is no truly good low-profile coolers. Especially ones which could keep an AMD cpu cool enough.
With Intels they would work.

Just look for another case. There are bunch of nice cases.
And if you can't find one which you think looks nice, just get some basic looking case.

Worry about aesthetics after you have high level pc. Performance comes before looks.

Hmm, how about something a bit smaller than an Evo? Doesn't necessarily have to be low profile

The case I'm referring to is the NZXT Phantom 240 and the Evo doesn't fit by around a 1-2mm margin. I really like the look of the case + the features it has, and the price is right up my alley.

That Scythe cooler is priced a bit ridiculously, it's almost double the cost of the Hyper 212. Cryorig H7 would be perfect but it's out of stock on Newegg

Huh? It should be about exact same price as Hyper 212 EVO (20-30$)
