Short story made even shorter, I'm a procrastinator and didn't send it my broken video card before the warranty expired. You live and learn.

I'm looking at getting another that will drop into my system and run smooth. Price range is... less than $350? I don't game enough to justify anything over that.
Here are my specs:

Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

ASRock Z77 Extreme3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model

XFX TS Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) 650W SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Thanks in advance to the replies

Also, do you recommend and specific manufacturer? My last card was made by Sapphire, and I refuse to go witht them again.

Pretty much any GTX 970 will do the job. I'm inclined to recommend Gigabyte's G1 Gaming or MSI's Gaming 4G. Used MSI in a couple of my clients builds no issues to date.

Edit: Sapphire is exclusive to AMD cards. Just like EVGA is exclusive to Nvidia cards.

Perfect! I was checking out the MSI because of the color combo haha, but good to know it'll perform as well!
And with that said, I'm going to steer clear of EVGA to be safe. I don't want to go through this again lol

Just to be clear, EVGA isn't a bad brand (neither is Sapphire). In fact, they make great GPUs. The MSI one should do you justice and good luck!
