The Lan/Ethernet cable has a RJ45 connector.
You can use lan cable of any type of category as there is no compatibility issue.
The deference between the categories is the maximum theoretical speed that they can achieve.
For a home installation you can use any of these, you will not see any deference in speed. A good Cat5/Cat5e is enough.
