Should I partition or use multiple SSD's for a boot drive?

I wanted to use an SSD as a boot drive and to store my games on, I'd keep about 6 games at a time and then delete the oldest/least used one. Basically since I'm new to PC building I didn't know if for the longevity of the SSD if if woud be more beneficial for me to use one large SSD and partition it so I can easily back-up my OS and then save my games on the rest of the SSD, or if it would just be better to get to seperate SSD's (one around 120GB and the other around 500GB) and store my OS and important programs on the 120GB (boot drive) and then save my games to the 500GB SSD. My thought here is that since I would be writing over and erasing the data of my games semi-frequently of my larger SSD that it wouldn't last as long, so I didn't want to put both my OS and games on the same drive. That way I could keep my boot drive for much longer since I would seldom write/delete data off it, and I could simply swap out my larger SSD if it failed on me after lots of writing and deleting of information, without having to mess with any vital programs. Cost isn't really an issue here, so does what I'm saying make sense, or am I just over-thinking this into potentially being an issue? Thanks for any of your help/suggestions guys. It's appreciated.

I'd say you are over complicating things here. Getting a 500GB ssd for installing games/os should be fine even if you are adding/removing games on a frequent basis the drive likely will last longer than it would be considered useful to you. Obviously you would still need to backup anything you considered important in case the drive did fail, but I don't think you would be doing much to prolong the life of an ssd by trying to limit usage of it which is debatable since the OS would still be running from it anyway. Partioning drives can make things a bit easy to stay organized and backup only what you need, but its also kind of a personal opinion thing and I like dealing with few drives so generally wouldn't partition it.
