I have an older monitor I want to connect to my computer but it only works with VGA. Only my Asrock Z97 Pro4 has a VGA output while I use the HDMI on my AMD R9 280x. I want to use both of these monitors at the same time, but does anybody know if there's somewhere in the bios where I can enable my onboard graphics and Video card at the same time?

Solution
You can't use the two VGA simultaneously.
But if the AMD R9 280x has a second HDMI or DVI you can use an adaptor (HDMI to VGA or DVI to VGA you can find a lot in amazon) and connect the second monitor.

Sorry to waste your time but I actually figured it out. There was an option in my bios under the advanced tab in the chipset properties folder that let me enable dual monitors. Now I have my main monitor running via HDMI from my GPU and my older monitor running via VGA through my mobo. I'm just leaving this up incase anybody ever has the same question with a similar motherboard since Asrock doesnt seem all that popular when looking it up.

If I can kindly ask sir, what setting did You turn on ?
I've only tried setting my Onboard graphics card as primary but then the windows won't load...
Using the same motherboard as You.

Greetings !

Look for a setting called "Multi-monitor" or something similar if you want to run more than one monitor.
