Whenever I play games, my screen will crash to a single solid color screen and become unresponsive. It also makes a nasty sound depending on which part of the game I'm in. I have to manually shut down my pc. I am fairly certain it is the GPU. However, I am uncertain on how to proceed. I am unable to play anything so, do I return it?(I hope I'm under a warranty of some kind) Is there something else I can do? Has anyone else experienced this?

I have a
4790k Intel CPU
GTX 780 gpu
16gb of ram

I also downloaded a gpu tester (furmark) to test it as well. Still get the same issue when I perform benchmark tests in that. I can quickly go to task manager and end the process. I will get an error popping up at the bottom right saying. "NVIDIA Windows Kernal Mode Driver, Version 353.30 stopped responding. I have tested this with multiple GPU driver versions. No hiccups I can see in the bios
