5820k vs 4790k DX12

I was wondering if it would be worth getting a 5820k over a 4790k for gaming on DX12? I am worried that if I buy a 4790K it wont perform as well as a 5820k in DX12 optimized games since DX12 will use all 6 cores.

If you can afford it dude then go for a DDR4 system, they will not be dropping price anytime soon and they're specifically ready for the DX12 games being released soon.

I own a 5820k with 16GB DDR4 with a single 980 GTX and its mental mate!!! MENTAL.

When you get to this price range of CPUs, a better one usually doesn't impact performance much as the graphics card is almost always the bottleneck in games. The 5820k requires x99 and that can be expensive. personally i would go with the 4790k.
