Hi!
I am really confused of what is compatible cpu and what is not. Any help is appreciated.
I have an HP Compaq Presario CQ62-360TX laptop with motherboard DA0AX1MB6H1 [REV: H] (not sure if letter O or number 0) and HM55 chipset. I opened it and the cpu slot says Socket 989, but every CPU I can see on the internet is either Socket G1 or BGA 1288. Current CPU is Intel Pentium P6100 that I cant bear because I need at least i-Core series.
Anyone can list a CPU that is compatible with my motherboard:
-Socket 989
-HM55 Chipset
-DA0AX1MB6H1 [REV: H]
-BIOS HP F.37

PS. I know that replacing laptop CPU is not recommended but I need something faster than the stock Intel Pentium P6100.
