Difference between first two cards in this link. And what's better out of the 3?

If you have a mid tower case, the best one overall is the second card. It is equally fast as the first one, but has way better and quieter cooling solution. If you got no space in your case or if it is a small form factor case, your best option is the first card. The third one is a very good card, but slower than both other cards.

Makes sense. Only reason I ask is because I have the 3rd card and after only a few months it started flickering and after some research I've learned that it's happening to quite a few people with this card. I do only have a mid case and it barely fits the length of the 280x sooo I wouldnt want one that's any longer. Also I can buy the smaller 970 in my area so I guess I'm better off doing that.

Not really looking to OC any ways. And the other card would probably be a bit too large so I think the smaller 970 would be fine anyways. I'll probably buy another case fan anyways just to keep some more cooling
