Okay, first my System:
GTX666-DC20-2GD5, Asus, GPU
Phenom II X4 965 BE, CPU
Arctic Freezer 13, CPU Cooler
Sharkoon WPM700 Bronze, PSU
M5A97 LE R2.0, Asus, Motherboard
DIMM 8GB DDR3-2133 Kit, RAM

So, after a year of not using my PC i decided to play a round. After a few seconds ingame it suddenly crashed. I still heard sounds but had to hard reset and started playing again. Then it crashed again and when i tried to start it it started to smell and would not do anything. I figured all my problems must come from the power supply or too hot cpu. So I ordered a new cooler and a new PSU. (My old cooler was the stock one, and the PSU was a 600W one.)

After installing i tried to start it, but it made a little blow up sound and it started smelling. The graphics card does not move or have any signals. The fans don't even start spinning. It does absolutely nothing. Only the little green light is on. I disconnected and reconnected all cords and the graphics card. All other fans spin and seem normal. Do I have to get a new graphics card or is it the main board broken? Or is there anything i can try to get it running without spending any more money. I removed the CMOS battery and tried resetting, I don't know if that worked though.

Thanks everyone, Carl

I think the GPU or the MB is gone, because your PC does not have onboard iGPU, so you either try one GPU borrowed from your friend or buy the new one to test. If you can boot the PC with other GPU, the old GPU has problem, also try use the GPU in other pcie slot (black color one). If you use the new GPU but you still can't boot the PC, the MB may have problem. Or go to local PC shop let them test for you.

I tried the black slot, it did not work. I don't have another GPU available, so I'm gonna buy a new one, (Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX750TI OC) and try that. I hope I dont have to buy a new MB too, it's an expensive hobby lol. Thank you guys, I will update you soon!
