I got a Dell Inspiron N5110 it is 4 years old and I had gamed on it
Its specs are:-
CPU - i5 2410m
GPU- Gt 525m
RAM- 4gb
RESOLUTION- 1366 x 768

I think its is bit weak for bf4
What if i upgrade my ram to 8gb

8GB RAM is now a very good idea.
Most games can do all right w/ full 4GB RAM (closing anything else).
But with some new games like the new Batman you will really see improved performance w/ 8GB RAM.

your gpu is not bad:

"The gaming performance of the GT 525M is similar to the GT 425M as the core clock rate differs only by 7%. Therefore, the gaming performance of the GT 525M is sufficient for medium detail settings in modern games like Battlefield Bad Company 2. Less demanding games should run in high detail settings. Your cpu is capable of 4 threading processing (HT) so will do ok w/ most of games.
However I think some BF4 multiplayers maps can become a challenge for this little Sandy Bridge.

i5 2410m -> DUAL core; 4 threads (HyperThread-HT).

1. CTRL+ALT+DEL.
2. Task manager.
3. Task Manager Performance Tab.
4. See four threads.

I have a feeling that this laptop setup will struggle to play this game as it is more cpu intensive. Also the game is more optimized for amd.
