i have a gaming pc that does not have on board graphics, it only takes gpu's and just recently when i try to use the pc i have no picture. Originally thought that it was that my gpu slot was dirty, so i cleaned it with a dry cloth, and it worked, however i rebooted the system and , again, no picture. so i decided to see what would happen if i put the card in the second gpu slot, same problem, is there a good chance that both slots are dirty and i just need to clean them with rubbing alcohol or compressed air? or is my motherboard failing.

P.S i have tried multiple graphics cards, same problem

please try to answer as quickly as possible this is an urgent situation.

Solution
It is difficult to say without inspecting the motherboard itself. As you have said you tried multiple graphics cards and the problem remained it could be dirt in their but its usually hard to get out use compressed air and also clean the graphics card pins and then try.
