hello guys,
i recently installed on an old computer (motherboard m2n68-la ) winxpsp3 (clean install).
now i have this problem that the computer will boot up till the black windows xp screen then shuts down. i found out that if i boot to safe mode and then restart again, it will boot up OK but i have to this every time the computer was shut down for awhile. what can be the reason?
i did had a problem with the CPU fan making noise during boot-up and the computer then shutdown. but now the noise is no longer.
what could be the problem?
p.s.
there is also 12 capacitors mainly near the CPU that seem to be swollen.
UPDATE: i replaced the capacitors and its working.
